Donna Fish was truly one of a kind. She loved her family, friends and church with all of her heart. She enjoyed traveling, often telling us she’s been everywhere, seen everything and couldn’t possibly pick a favorite. She was an avid card player and met with her card club regularly for more than 50 years. She was a fantastic family chef. Her recipes have been passed down through the years, but she had a tendency to keep the REAL recipe in her head (if you know, you know). We enjoyed calling her for tips when ours, inevitably, didn’t turn out quite like hers. Donna played many roles for the many people who loved her. She was a loyal friend and companion, a daughter, a sister, and our beloved “Aunt Donna”. In addition to being a loving aunt, she selflessly became “mom” & “nana” to several of us when we needed her most. As the matriarch, she held our family together for many years and will be dearly missed by all.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Donna is one nephew, Kerry Dalton; two nieces, Susan (Chris) Burnett and Dona Parham; 13 great nieces and nephews; 12 great great nieces and nephews; three great great great nieces and nephews; and her precious cat, Sugar.
