When I was 13 years old, I had to sit on a fence and watch my neighbor’s house burn. That made me decide that I wanted to do what I could to help my community.
One year later Shawswick was formed and that was 1974.
I however, had to wait a few years to join due to age restrictions. Today I still love what I do and the satisfaction of being there for someone makes it all worth it.
