Bollinger July 3, 1941 — April 17, 2008 Martha Gayle (Craig) Bollinger, 66, more affectionately called “Granny Martha” by her grandchildren, was delivered into the loving arms of her Savior on April 17, 2008, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born July 3, 1941, in Bedford, to Idris J. “Buck” Craig and Inez I. Cummings Craig. She married Charles “Chuck” Bollinger of Scottsdale, Ariz., on Dec. 26, 1965. Survivors include her son, Charles Joseph “C.J.” Bollinger and his wife Elizabeth; grandchildren: Cole Tyler Bollinger, Jessica Caytlyn Bollinger, and Carlee Brooke Bollinger, all of Lubbock, Texas; ex-husband, Chuck Bollinger of Kingman, Ariz.; one brother, Kenneth “Joe” Craig and his wife Marilou K. of Bedford; sisters-in-law: Edy Craig of Bedford and Beth Sweiven of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers: Bob and Charlie Craig. Martha was a life-long member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Bedford. She attended the Academy of Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand; graduated from Bedford High School; and attended Arizona State University. She was a Pink Lady at Dunn Memorial Hospital, a volunteer for the American Red Cross, and a member of several social clubs. Beedie, 69, 226 Hoosier Avenue, Oolitic, went to be with the Lord at 10:29 a.m. Friday at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born July 7, 1939, in Bedford, he was the son of Max S. and Olive M. (Daugherty) Beedie. He married Janice Lea Mills on Sept. 27, 1958, and she survives. He was a supervisor at G.E. in Bloomington, retiring after 27 years, in 1996. He continued working at G.E. after retirement, until the present. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Bedford. He was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. Margaret was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Red Hat Society and Indiana Bell Telephone Pioneers. She was a former assistant Girl Scout leader and member of the Lincoln School PTA. Margaret was a veteran of World War II serving with the Women’s Army Corps. and was a 55-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
